# Smart Mentions

[**Smart Mentions**](https://twitterscore.io/smart-mentions/) is a real-time leaderboard that ranks accounts and projects by how often they're being mentioned across a curated base of **40,000+ smart crypto accounts**. Instead of measuring raw engagement, it surfaces who the most influential accounts in crypto are actually talking about right now — a powerful way to catch alpha early.

You can switch between three timeframes — **1 day, 7 days, and 30 days**. Accounts are ranked by the *growth* of their Smart Mentions during the selected period, not by all-time totals, so changing the timeframe re-ranks the entire list. This highlights what's gaining momentum rather than what's already established.

The page can also be filtered by category — *Projects, Venture Capitals, Influencers, Founders, Media, Angels, Exchanges, Auditors* and more — so you can narrow the leaderboard to the segment you care about.

Each row includes:

* **Twitter Score** — the account's overall influence score
* **Followers** — follower count and its change over the period
* **Smart Mentions** — total mentions from smart accounts (with period growth)
* **Unique Mentioners** — how many distinct smart accounts mentioned them
* **Description** — a short profile summary

Smart Mentions data is aggregated from the curated base of 40,000+ smart crypto accounts and updated continuously.
